The Whole Nine Yard~
I saw
The Whole Nine Yard last week. I have to admit I was expecting a lot because
first of all, I just love Matthew Perry I think he's so great and funny
and charming. But also because this movie was filmed in Montréal
and OH YEAH I'm from there !
Ok
now...for those who have seen the movie...just to make things clear...really...I
don't know anybody who puts mayonnaise in his hamburger...
Now,
the movie is enjoyable. Bruce Willis is...a typical Bruce Willis kinda
macho killer guy. Matthew is very funny in the part of the poor dentist
caught in the middle of all those killing contracts. No really he's pretty
good. In fact, he's the best part of that movie. Now...let's talk about
Roseanna Arquette. This woman has the WORST québecois accent I HAVE
EVER HEARD. They should have taken a real québécoise to play
that part. There were some well known local actors in the movie which was
fun. Amanda Peet is so great in that film and her french is not bad I have
to say. They show Montréal a lot which was fun for me and my friends
to watch and recognize the places. (I'm just really mad I was too stupid
to get there to watch the shooting to get a glimpse of Matthew.)
The
script is amusing, the idea is fun, the chemistry between Willis and Peet
is worth the watch and of course...you Matthew fans...you have to see it.
It's not hilarious but it sure is..fun.
