September 11: Emmy's night Last
night was Emmy's night . It was not a lucky night for Friends. Lisa
and Jennifer were up for best supporting actress in a comedy but did'nt
get it. Jennifer arrived on the red carpet with her new husband Brad Pitt
who wore an homemade necklace that spelled Jen. Matthew Perry presented
an award and so did Jennifer Aniston. David Schwimmer was also present.

This is nothing new to Aniston's husband. Five years ago Celebrity Skin
published nude photos of Pitt and his then girlfriend, actress Gwyneth
Paltrow, while the couple was on vacation. When Playgirl magazine
attempted to re-publish the photos in 1996, Pitt sued successfully and
was able to
block the publication. Aniston is attempting to block the release
of Celebrity Skin's September issue which features herself and Friends
cast-mates Courteney Cox Arquette and Lisa Kudrow on the cover. Man's
World Publications also published the same nude photo of Aniston plus
an additional shot of the actress in the December issue of one of their
other publications, High Society.
August 9: All About Jennifer and Brad's wedding After
months of rumors, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married Saturday
at a ceremony on an ocean bluff. About 200 guests attended the lavish sunset
ceremony at an estate owned by television executive Marcy Carsey. Among
the guests were Jennifer's costars Matthew Perry (arriving with Claire
Forani, Brad's interest in Meeting Joe Black), Matt Leblanc, Courteney
Cox Arquette and her husband David, Lisa Kudrow and her husband and David
Schwimmer. Also there were Fight Club Edward Norton and girlfriend Salma
Hayek and Cameron Diaz. The security was very severe, each of the guest
had to wear pins and got check by security guards. Aniston wore a floor-length
white satin silk gown designed by Lawrence Steele, according to a press
statement. Her ivory-colored, suede high-heel andals were designed by shoemaker
Manolo Blahnik for Steele. The bridesmaids wore pale green silk chiffon
slip dresses with pale tafetta mules. Pitt wore a black tuxedo designed
by Hedi Slimane. His attendants wore black tuxedos designed by Prada. The
whole ceremony apparently cost 1 million dollar.

Aniston is apparently trying to get out of her "good girl" image ! She
stars in the upcoming film Metal God, in which she and onscreen
boyfriend Mark Wahlberg participate in an orgy.
June 28: Matthew Perry and The Emmy When he leaned that he was nominated in the "best actor" category at the Emmy's, Matthew Perry asked to be removed of the list, due to the pact the cast has that they're all...suporting actors and that none of them is more important. It was to late for him to get nominated in the "best supporting actor" category. Lisa Kudrow said that it was stupid for him to do that because he clearly was the best this season ! May 26 : More news on Matthew Perry's health problems The
mystery behind Matthew Perry's health problems received tabloid treatment
Thursday. A story in Britain's The Sun reported the "Friends" star checked
into Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because he needed a life-saving
liver transplant. Perry's publicist released a statement Thursday saying
In
1997, Perry checked himself into rehab for an addiction to prescription
painkillers. Perry's ex-girlfriend Rene Ashton rejected those rumors in
an interview with People magazine, saying "No drugs. No alcohol...Generally
when Matthew finishes working...he usually gets a cold or a little something.
It's a pattern with him." In the same story, Perry said, "I went to the
hospital to be treated for a serious stomach ailment and fortunately, I'm
feeling much better."
May 23: Matthew Perry in a car accident Actor
Matthew Perry wrecked his Porsche Saturday when he swerved to avoid a car
on the narrow streets of the Hollywood Hills and drove into someone's porch,
police said. The 30-year-old star of the hit TV show "Friends" was uninjured,
said Sgt. Paul Partridge. Perry was not under the influence or drugs or
alcohol at the time of the noon accident, Partridge said. "Mr. Perry was
driving downhill, and he swerved to avoid another vehicle, probably coming
the other direction. He wasn't able to regain control and ran off the road,"
Partridge said. Perry's green Porsche was damaged and had to be towed,

May 15: Friends cast signed up for 2 more years NBC will keep its "Friends" for two more years, but the six actors who star in the sitcom will be getting a lot more money to hang around the coffee shop. After negotiations with Warner Brothers Television that ended in the predawn hours on Sunday, the actors agreed to return for $20 million per year each, according to executives close to the talks who requested anonymity. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will be getting a big raise from the reported $125,000 they made for each of the 22 episodes this season. The deal came a day before NBC was to present its fall schedule to advertisers in New York. The network had imposed a deadline of 3 p.m. EST on Sunday to get an agreement, or it was prepared to announce a schedule without "Friends" in its customary slot on Thursdays at 8 p.m. Losing "Friends" would have been a major blow to NBC, which has had trouble developing new comedies and seen its Thursday dominance somewhat eroded by ABC's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." Instead,
negotiators beat the deadline by about 12 hours. The actors reached the
deal with Warner Bros., the studio that produces the show. The six "Friends"
will be paid $750,000 per episode for each year. They were also given a
greater percentage of the profits from
